Paula joined the firm in 1996 and primarily practices in the areas of employment law, insurance defense, professional negligence, business litigation, and appellate work. She is also a member of the firm's research and writing section. Prior to joining the firm, Paula was in private practice and was in-house counsel for a gas pipeline company where her practice included employment law, federal regulatory law, oil and gas law, and contract law. She has presented several seminars on employment law to various clients and professional associations.

Paula is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and an inactive member of the State Bar of Texas. In addition, she is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the International Association of Defense Counsel and is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Oklahoma. Paula has been an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Tulsa graduate paralegal program. She has also been an Instructor and Adjunct Instructor for the University of Oklahoma and Tulsa Community College.
