RIGHT: Roller skating was a major activity for children and teenagers in the 1950s, and the Glider was a great place to go.

LEFT: A lot of people listened to KVOO Radio, boasting 50,000 Watts,.  Every weekday from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. the station was broadasting "Eggs at Eight."  This was the cast.  Sad to say, it is hard to find good accordion music to listen to on the way to work these days.
